The Story

A German HCM and payroll software provider is migrating 150 existing customers to a new platform. The legacy platform will remain available until March of the following year, so the migration must be completed by year-end. The project team needs to be expanded and stabilized, however internal resources are scarce. In Phase 1, concrete objectives and strategy for the migration project are defined and validated (tool, tasks, customer triage, upselling, etc.) and framework conditions are established. From this, work packages, roles and responsibilities, timeline and resource requirements are derived.

  • LKPU lays the foundation for supporting the entire migration project. In Phase 2, the defined measures are implemented to achieve the project objectives and complete the migration within the given timeframe.
  • LKPU fills the roles of Project Manager, Data Lead, PMO and Customer Manager
  • Project structures are created and implemented
  • Reporting is revised and expanded, creating the necessary transparency over the status of individual customers and migration waves

All customer-facing tasks related to data provision, data cleansing and upload windows are coordinated by the Customer Manager
